Prepardness
Make a Kit!
For your Home or Office your kit should contain the following items that should last for 72 Hours:
- Water (a three-to-five-day supply or one gallon per person per day)
- Canned or Dried Food that will not spoil and requires no cooking.
- Manual Can Opener.
- A well stocked First Aid Kit. (The kit should be checked every three months.)
- Battery-powered or Hand-cranked Emergency Radio.
- Cell Phones, with charged spare batteries.
- Flashlights or Battery-powered Lanterns, with charged spare batteries.
- Prescription Medicine, if needed daily.
- Personal care items for infants or elderly.
- Extra Blankets and spare bedding, i.e. sleeping bags.
